Splunk Data Engineer

As a Data Analytics Specialist at Saxon Global, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in data analytics and ETL processes to drive business growth. With a strong background in server administration on Linux and Windows platforms, you will be able to connect with multiple types of data platforms, including machine data, SQL databases, APIs, and custom data feeds. Your experience with Splunk, Bash/Shell scripting, Python, and ETL knowledge will enable you to extract insights from complex data sets and present them in a clear and actionable manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
- Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards to provide real-time insights into business operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and develop data-driven solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve data analytics capabilities
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics and ETL processes
- Strong knowledge of Splunk, Bash/Shell scripting, Python, and ETL tools
- Experience with Linux and Windows server administration
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
