Job Summary:

As a key member of the MDA Edge team, the Registered Nursing Manager-Sleep Medicine and Wound Care will oversee the operations of a large unit or multiple units providing ambulatory services. This role requires a strong leader who can ensure staff provides high-quality, accessible, and cost-effective care to patients across the continuum, while maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a large unit or multiple units, ensuring seamless delivery of patient care services.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to establish, implement, and maintain patient care and quality service standards.
  • Act as a patient advocate, resolving patient care issues and ensuring patient satisfaction.
  • Develop and evaluate processes to improve systems and patient care results across the continuum of care.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify strategies to reduce costs and improve quality of care/service.
  • Develop and maintain clinical practice standards, budgets, and staff development programs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum five years of nursing experience in management/leadership roles required.
  • Minimum five years of supervisory experience required.
  • Prior experience in respiratory/sleep/pulmonology setting.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or health-related field required, OR four years of experience in a directly related field.
  • Registered Nurse License (California).
  • Basic Life Support.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum three years of experience in an outpatient care setting.
  • Clinical specialization in area of practice.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience of managing in a labor environment, managing staff on extended roles, managing multiple locations, and managing large/complex projects.
