Job Description

Staff Today is seeking a skilled contract nurse RN for a mental health nursing position in a local setting.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our team as a contract RN in mental health. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-quality patient care and a strong understanding of mental health principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to individuals with mental health conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop treatment plans
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Experience in mental health nursing, preferably in a contract or travel setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and priorities
