Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tree Climber to join our team at Monster Tree Service. As a Tree Climber, you will be responsible for climbing, pruning, and removing trees on residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Climbing and Pruning: Safely climb and prune trees using rope and saddle, and operate chainsaws and chippers as needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Properly prepare, maintain, and safely operate all tools and equipment, including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and climbing gear.
  • Crew Support: Work as part of a crew supporting the Crew Foreman and ensure excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Climbing Experience: Minimum 3 years of climbing experience utilizing rope and saddle, with knowledge of knots, chainsaw operation, and chipper operation.
  • Aerial Lifts and Crane Operation: Experience with Aerial Lifts and crane operation is desired.
  • ANSI Standards: Familiarity with ANSI standards is required.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required, and a CDL is preferred.
  • Non-CDL Truck Operation: Experience operating non-CDL trucks with trailers is required.
  • Crew Management and Safety: Experience with crew management, training, customer service, and safety procedures is highly valuable.
