Accounting Clerk

The Live Accounting Clerk is a key member of the George's team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data related to live operations. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Audit and process pay and bonuses for growers, ensuring all necessary documentation is received and accurate.
• Process and post all invoices and bonuses related to growers, maintaining accurate records and communicating with operations as needed.
• Compile and distribute live production data, both internally and externally, to support business decisions and reporting.
• Prepare weekly reporting packets, providing timely and accurate information to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of grower information, current and historical, to support business operations.
• Audit and process feed mill data and inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Respond to inquiries from growers, operations, and management, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate operational performance to growers, providing clear and concise information to support business decisions.
• Provide backup support for other Live Clerks as needed, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality service.
• Prepare various reports and summaries, as requested by the accounting manager or other live production management, to support business operations and decision-making.

• High School degree or GED, with an Associate's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of clerical experience, with strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility, self-motivation, and the ability to meet deadlines, with a willingness to work overtime, holidays, and flexible hours as needed.
