We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Merchandise Associate to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a Merchandise Associate, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by engaging with customers, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to operational and merchandise standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment by adhering to visual merchandising standards, recovering the sales floor, and participating in store recovery as needed.
- Process customer purchases and returns accurately and efficiently, while providing a positive experience for each customer.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers, and provide information on store promotions and events.
- Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs, and maintain a safe and secure store environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage with customers and respond to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Previous retail customer experience preferred, but not required.
