Job Description

At Buca di Beppo, we're passionate about delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. As a Wait Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive top-notch service and have an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Servers and Bartenders in attending to guests' needs, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
  • Run food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of efficiency and organization.
  • Reset tables, bar tops, and counter tops according to company standards, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
  • Scrape and stack dirty dishes, and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
  • Clean up spills, broken dishes, and remove empty bottles and trash, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages for guests at the Server's request.
  • Stock refrigerating units with wines and bottled beer, and restock inventory as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with Servers and other team members to ensure seamless service and exceed guest expectations.
Requirements:
  • High School Degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
  • No restaurant experience necessary, but bussing or similar experience is preferred.
  • Ability to use all sensory capabilities, including vision, hearing, tasting, smelling, touching, and speaking.
