Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant Instructor to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students in our Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in occupational therapy assistant education, including classroom and clinical instruction
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and the program
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students
  • Participate in program evaluation and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with other faculty and staff to ensure a comprehensive learning experience for students
Requirements
  • Master's degree in occupational therapy or a related field
  • Current licensure as an occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant in the state of Oklahoma
  • At least three years of experience in occupational therapy or occupational therapy assistant education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching in a post-secondary setting
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design
  • Experience with assessment and evaluation of student learning
Working Conditions

This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position. The successful candidate will be expected to teach on a semester-by-semester basis, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and program needs.
