Position Overview- Specialty: Endoscopy

Unit Details:
The Endoscopy unit is equipped with:
- 2 Endoscopy rooms
- 1 Bronchoscopy room
- 1 ERCP room
Staffing:
The unit comprises a team of 9 professionals, including:
- 1 Charge Nurse
- 6 Staff Nurses
- 2 Technicians
EMR System: Meditech
Shift Patterns:
Staff typically work either 8-hour shifts for 5 days or 10-hour shifts for 4 days a week.
Essential Skills:
Candidates must demonstrate a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit. The following certifications are required:
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
Preferred Skills:
Experience in Endoscopy, bedside skills, and familiarity with Meditech and Provations will be advantageous.
Common Procedures:
The unit performs various procedures, including:
- EGD
- Colonoscopy
- Bronchoscopy
- ERCP
- EUS
- EBUS
- ION
Ideal Candidate Traits:
We seek individuals who are team-oriented, possess a positive demeanor, and are eager to assist their colleagues.
Additional Information:
The position may require floating to pre-op and PACU areas. The dress code consists of teal scrubs.
Weekend and On-Call Requirements:
The role may involve working 8-10 shifts per month, including at least one weekend. On-call duties commence after regular hours and continue until the following morning.
