Job Summary

Integrated Resources is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT procedures according to prescribed protocols to ensure uniformity and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs CT procedures according to prescribed protocols to ensure uniformity and accuracy.
  • Exercises appropriate judgment to assess and respond to patients' needs prior to, during, and after visits in the Radiology department.
  • Requires the utilization of appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure quality diagnostic CT/MRI/X-Ray images.
  • Performs daily quality control calibration checks on all equipment to ensure the equipment is calibrated and working properly before any patient study is performed.
  • Injects patients with radioactive material as per the physician's order following the prescribed protocol.
  • Observes all department documentation policies by filling in all appropriate logs, manuals, charge documents, as well as reporting equipment problems to comply with regulatory agencies.
  • Performs quality control, quality assurance, and safety tests.
  • Follows radiation safety guidelines to comply with ALARA principle.
  • Maintains and develops and retrieves patient films and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation.
  • Orders patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses 1-day prior to use.
  • Receives radiopharmaceuticals on day of delivery and verifies proper receipt as per policy and procedure.
  • Verifies activity level of the dose prior to administration.
Requirements
  • ARRT (R) (CT)
  • BLS through AHA
  • At least 1 year of CT experience
