Key Responsibilities- Deliver Quality Patient Care: Provide safe and effective clinical practice, including medication administration, and demonstrate a commitment to quality and patient safety.
- Lead and Collaborate: Demonstrate leadership skills by effectively communicating with the healthcare team, delegating tasks, and supervising patient care activities.
- Coordinate Care: Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on current evidence-based practice, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document and Communicate: Accurately document patient care, changes in condition, and responses to therapy, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers.
- Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care, and provide emotional support and guidance as needed.
- Education: Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing, with an Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required. BSN highly preferred.
- Licensure: Current Florida RN licensure or endorsement.
- Certification: Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card, AHA ACLS, and unit-specific certifications as required.
- Experience: Meet unit-specific care requirements.
- Language: Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
