Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Sergeant to join our team at CoxHealth. As an armed officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all staff members, visitors, and patients. You will utilize your Peace Officer training and public relation skills to maintain a congenial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Practice effective problem identification and apply preventative, protective, and defensive tactics to ensure a safe environment.
  • Document observations and actions in department reports.
  • Directly supervise CoxHealth Security Officers and respond to outlying clinics needing assistance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3 years of related security or law enforcement experience
  • Active Driver's License
  • IAHSS Security Supervisor certification within 90 days of hire
