We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. This role requires a professional with a strong background in cardiac care.
Certification Requirements- Mandatory Certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS.
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: Guaranteed 36 hours
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour day shifts
- Floating Requirements: As needed, primarily within critical and acute care settings
- On-Call Requirements: Optional call pick-up with a response time of 1 hour
- Weekend and Holiday Duties: Every 2-3 weekends and every other holiday
- Minimum Experience: 2 years in cardiac nursing, with skills in managing Swans, IABP's, and post-operative heart patients
- Charting System: Experience with EPIC preferred
- Primary Procedures: Involves post-operative hearts, AMI, cardiogenic shock, and frequent cardioversions
- Candidate Attributes: Strong work ethic, resilience, and ability to manage change effectively
- Scrub Colors: Any color scrubs
- WI RN License
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- CCRN certification preferred but not mandatory
The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit consists of 12 beds, focusing on post-operative heart care, AMI, cardiogenic shock, and induced hypothermia, with a patient ratio of 2:1 for CRRT and 1:1 for Impella.
Additional Information- Radius Rule: Contractors must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Orientation Hours: GSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation; however, travelers are assured set hours weekly, except during unit closures for holidays.
