Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lot Porter/Detailer to join our team at Beaumont RV Inc. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of our new and used RV lots, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport RVs to and from service bays, stores, gas stations, repair facilities, and locations
  • Keep new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving RVs as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
  • Make a daily inspection of showroom and service entrance doors and wash as necessary
  • Keep the sidewalk along with street free debris
  • Maintain Dealership premises as directed by Supervisor/Manager
  • Detail and make units ready for delivery, assist with pre-delivery inspections
  • Janitorial work
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma, some college preferred
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required
  • One year of experience in detailing preferred, with experience in RV or automotive dealership environment a plus
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Commitment to superior customer service and ability to work independently as well as on a team
Working Conditions

Lot Porters are exposed to various conditions, including slippery floors, occasional extreme temperatures and weather, and potential exposure to solvents and chemicals. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Physical/Mental Demands

The position requires varied activities, including sitting, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and stooping. Frequent lifting/carrying items up to 50 pounds is required, with occasional stress from balancing multiple projects and deadlines.
