About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Advocate Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of our organization.

Requirements
  • Licensure: Current Illinois RN license
  • Education/Experience: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, with a minimum of 2 years' experience preferred
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Good communication, computer, and time management skills, familiarity with patient care equipment, and current CPR certification
Working Conditions
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts, transport objects, patients, and equipment, and respond quickly to patient needs
  • Work Environment: Probability of exposure to adverse, hazardous, or unpleasant conditions while caring for the sick, ability to assist in evacuation of patients in the event of a fire or other disaster
Education Addendum
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing: Required
  • BSN Preferred: Preferred
  • Certifications/Education Required: ACLS and/or PALS, OCN preferred or obtained when OCN requirements met
