About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team at Editech Staffing. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise on automation standards and quality control, ensuring the highest quality standards in our software products.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and execute projects, including setting up frameworks, identifying and documenting standards, developing, and maintaining testing evidence & automation scripts.
  • Quality Assurance: Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback, ensuring that our software meets the required standards.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured testing evidence, perform various types of regression testing, and analyze product and process specifications and procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend major improvements to procedural processes, recommend changes or improvements to existing processes, methods, and technologies that improve product quality, safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams (e.g., developers and analysts) to identify system requirements, investigate the root causes of candidate defects, and document the steps to reproduce.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track quality assurance metrics like defect densities, open defect counts, and defect trends, and provide training to junior engineers.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven work experience in quality assurance, 3+ years preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, hands-on experience with white box and black box testing, C#, Selenium, and scripting tools.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree is preferred in Computer Science, or other relevant field.
  • Desired Skills: Strong attention to detail, strong experience with open-source automation tools, strong experience with version control using git and GitHub, basic proficiency with SQL, and strong C# and POM experience.
