Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse - Psychiatric

We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse to join our team at a psychiatric unit in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Travel Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel nurse assignment with a day shift schedule, rotating weekends. The ideal candidate will have three years of experience in behavioral health/psychiatric healthcare facilities and hold an active unencumbered Arizona RN license. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assessment, direction, and intervention in crisis situations, as well as providing leadership and direction to licensed vocational nurses, psychiatric technicians, and counselors.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment of patients' psychiatric and medical status
  • Recognize signs and symptoms of chemical dependency disorders and apply/utilize appropriate treatment interventions
  • Recognize signs and symptoms of mental health disorders and apply/utilize appropriate treatment interventions
  • Assess, direct, and intervene in crisis situations
  • Provide leadership and direction to licensed vocational nurses, psychiatric technicians, and counselors
Requirements:
  • Three years of behavioral health/psychiatric healthcare facility RN experience
  • Active unencumbered Arizona RN license
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster
