Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Mass-RI Veterinary ER in Swansea, MA. As a key member of our emergency department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their owners.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility with shifts, including weekends and holidays. You will work closely with our experienced veterinary technicians, assistants, and doctors to provide efficient and lifesaving care. If you enjoy the fast-paced environment of emergency medicine and are a self-starter, this role may be an excellent fit for you.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinary technicians and doctors in a clinical setting
  • Provide proper animal restraint and basic surgery prep
  • Participate in emergency medicine procedures, including IV catheter placement and venipuncture
  • Work effectively in a team environment to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant
  • Self-starter with a passion for emergency medicine
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
