Job Responsibilities:

  • Installing fire alarms for new construction commercial jobsites located in Wilton CT.
  • Must have either a E2 electrical license or a L6 low voltage license.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current/Active Licensed CT Electrician License E1 / E2 or L6.
  • OSHA Certification issued within the last 5 years or a willingness to obtain it.
  • Perform tests and use the results to diagnose problems, for example, when an outlet is not working, using a multi-meter to check the voltage, amperage, or resistance to resolve the appropriate course of action.
  • References that will verify your professional skills and experience.
  • Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
  • Performing semiskilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prior experience in the commercial field preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience on commercial or residential construction sites.
  • Prior experience using Standard electrical tools required.
