We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Counselor to join our team at the Northern Kentucky Area Development District (NKADD).
Job OverviewNKADD is a local government agency and public non-profit organization committed to serving our community. Key Responsibilities- Respectfully interview, assess, and counsel individuals requesting information.
- Multi-task by listening, entering information, and looking up resources all at once.
- Complete timely paperwork and database entry.
- Meet required deadlines consistently and deliver excellent customer service.
- Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field preferred.
- High School Diploma/GED required with 1 year of experience and knowledge of aging and disabilities populations and programs.
- Customer Service expertise including exceptional listening skills and familiarity with community resources and services for seniors.
- Familiarity with the Medicaid waiver is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills related to databases, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and the Internet.
- Demonstrated track record of excellent attendance and commitment to a team-oriented work environment.
The annual salary range for this position is $34,000-$37,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
