Job Title: Surgical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at ProKatchers LLC. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Job Summary:

The Surgical Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance in the operating room, labor and delivery, or other facilities performing surgical procedures. This includes preparing the operating room, assisting the surgeon, and maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares the operating room by setting up equipment and supplies
  • Assists the surgeon during procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
  • Monitors the patient's vital signs and reports any changes to the surgeon
  • Participates in sponge, needle, and instrument counts
  • Cleans and sterilizes equipment and supplies
  • Assists in the training of surgical technicians
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited school/program for Surgical Technicians
  • Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • 6 months of scrub tech experience or completion of training
