**Job Description:** We are seeking a highly skilled Public Works Maintenance Worker I/II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction trades and possess a valid California driver's license.

**Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain public works infrastructure and facilities
  • Construct new public works infrastructure and facilities
  • Provide support to other departments as needed

**Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of formal or informal education sufficient to read and write at a level required for successful job performance
  • Experience: Public Works Maintenance Worker I: Six (6) months of recent work experience in the construction trades; Public Works Maintenance Worker II: Two (2) years of recent work experience in the construction trades or one (1) year of experience at a level equivalent to a Public Works Maintenance Worker I with the City of Yuba City
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid California driver's license and obtain a Class A license with Airbrake endorsement within 12 months
