CAMBA is a leading provider of comprehensive services to individuals and families in need. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Driver/Maintenance Worker to join our team at the Broadway House Women's Shelter in Bushwick.
Key Responsibilities- Operate company vehicles to transport passengers, supplies, and materials
- Perform maintenance tasks, including repairs, painting, and upkeep of facilities and clients' apartments
- Load, unload, and carry furniture and supplies as needed
- Clean exterior grounds and dumpster
- Fulfill courier/messenger tasks
- Sufficient education and technical expertise to comprehend written and oral instructions
- Valid New York State Driver's License and excellent driving history
- Completion of NYS Approved Defensive Driving Classes every 3 years
- Ability to remain insurable based on CAMBA's point system
- Bi-lingual preferred
- Competitive hourly rate of $16.00
- Full-time position (35 hours per week)
- Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, and 403(b) retirement plan
