A healthcare facility is seeking a proficient Windows Infrastructure Specialist. This role encompasses a blend of system setup, solution updates, and technical support. Expertise in Windows systems is essential, with additional familiarity in VMWare, Active Directory, and Linux being advantageous.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years as a Windows Infrastructure Specialist
- Strong communication abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Linux

- Experience in Data Center or bare metal environments
Client Requirements:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
Experience:
- 5+ years in server administration with VMWare management
- Familiarity with Cisco rack-mountable servers and Dell EMC infrastructure
- 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as MS Azure, Amazon AWS, or Google Cloud
Technical Knowledge:
- Proficient in Networking concepts
- Solid understanding of distributed systems
- Familiarity with ITIL v.3 principles
- Knowledge of Epic infrastructure is a plus
Skills and Competencies:
- Extensive experience with Windows Server 2019/2022 and Windows 10 management
- Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Remote Desktop Services, and Azure Virtual Desktops is preferred
- Active Directory and Group Policy administration experience
- DNS/DHCP management experience
- Proficient in scripting and automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, VBS, and Bash
- Experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware
- Ability to troubleshoot network-related issues
- Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to work independently or collaboratively
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across various organizational levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and familiarity with project management fundamentals
