About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Support Professional to join our Float Pool team at LifeBridge Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the delivery of high-quality medical services.

Job Summary

This is an entry-level position that requires basic employment skills, knowledge, and experience in a clinical setting. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide nursing support services to patients across various units, including Critical Care, Acute Care, Telemetry, Emergency Department, and Surgical Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Registered Nurses (RNs) in providing direct patient care and performing various tasks related to patient assessment, treatment, and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, medications, and treatments.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Perform technical duties such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and operating medical equipment.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.

Requirements

  • BLS card from AHA required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting or completion of a nursing program.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic health records systems.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to understand complex medical concepts.
