Position Summary

As a Physical Security Officer (PSO), you will operate in dynamic and high-pressure environments. PSOs may be assigned to various settings, including healthcare facilities, government sites, hospitality locations, and public gatherings. The primary mission of a PSO is to safeguard individuals, sensitive information, and property while ensuring a high standard of customer service. PSOs serve as the frontline representatives of our security services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service

• Respond effectively to emergencies

• Prevent and deter criminal activity

• Manage access control procedures

• Investigate incidents thoroughly

• Maintain daily logs and incident reports

• Conduct regular patrols, both on foot and in vehicles

• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, guests, and colleagues

• De-escalate conflicts when necessary

• Monitor surveillance systems

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Minimum of two years in customer service roles

• At least two years of security experience

• Basic proficiency in computer applications (Email, Microsoft Office, etc.)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Effective time management abilities

• Reliable transportation required

• Excellent conflict resolution skills

• Proactive problem-solving capabilities

• Must obtain state-required security officer license

• Ability to achieve OCAT, PATH, and PPBT certifications

• Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, drug screening, and OPS training requirements
