Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle Essbase solutions to support financial reporting and data analysis requirements.
  • Work with relational database management systems (RDBMS), such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database, to design and manage data structures and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain batch processes using batch automation tools, such as Windows Scheduler and AutoSys, to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
  • Write and maintain scripts using Python, UNIX shell, Windows PowerShell, and DOS command line for system automation, data manipulation, and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support complex data systems and reporting solutions.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization of Essbase applications and related systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all systems and automate data validation processes.
  • Provide support for application deployment, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in Oracle Essbase Development.
  • Proven experience with RDBMS technologies, including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database.
  • Strong proficiency with batch automation tools such as Windows Scheduler and AutoSys.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, UNIX shell, Windows PowerShell, and DOS command line.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
