  • Monitor and report on quality trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues and manage non-conforming products.
  • Conduct training on HACCP, GMPs, and quality systems to ensure compliance and proper documentation.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of quality excellence.
  • Drive enterprise-level projects focused on enhancing product quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Communicate project plans and outcomes effectively to stakeholders.
  • Design and implement robust methods for process control and quality assurance.
  • Apply continuous improvement methodologies to minimize defects and enhance product reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Engineering, with a preference for Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of statistics and quality control methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and capable of learning specialized software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and project management expertise.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance standards.
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships and collaborate across functions.
