Job Overview:
As a Textile Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the lab manager in the organization and upkeep of the spinning laboratory dedicated to educational and research initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the scheduling and operational management of the spinning lab.
- Designing and implementing experiments to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Providing instruction to students and faculty on the proper use of lab equipment.
- Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring compliance with safety regulations for all equipment.
- Collecting and presenting trial data to the lab manager while engaging in research discussions.
- Operating various spinning lab machinery.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- Relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Preferred: Two years of experience in textile manufacturing or a related academic degree.
Compensation:
$15-$20 per hour
