Job Title: Community Corrections Officer 2

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Corrections Officer 2 to join our team in the Department of Corrections. As a Community Corrections Officer 2, you will play a critical role in ensuring public safety and providing support to individuals in the community.

Job Summary:

The Community Corrections Division has a permanent, full-time opening available in Northwest Region-Section 6, Mt. Vernon Field Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing supervision and support to individuals in the community, as well as collaborating with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure effective case management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide supervision and support to individuals in the community, including monitoring their progress and providing guidance and resources as needed.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure effective case management and to address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Develop and implement individualized case plans to address the needs and goals of each client.
  • Conduct regular home visits and other site visits to monitor client progress and provide support.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and address any issues or concerns.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience in a related field, such as corrections, social work, or counseling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
