Position: Assembler I

Overview

The Assembler I role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and assembling mechanical and electrical apparatus within an industrial manufacturing environment at our facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble products in accordance with established specifications
  • Develop foundational and advanced skills in relevant procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment
  • Assist fellow team members in the assembly of components
  • Guide other Assemblers on proper techniques and procedures for specific subassemblies
  • Complete necessary assembly documentation and reports
  • Resolve routine issues related to subassemblies
  • Utilize appropriate material handling equipment
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Support more experienced Assemblers as needed
  • Engage in team support roles as required
  • Comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations
  • Take on additional projects as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in medium/heavy mechanical assembly
  • Certification for operating powered industrial trucks
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, bills of material, and electrical schematics
  • Capability to work effectively in a diverse environment
