Overview of the Job

We are seeking an ambitious Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) Tele RN to join our Cardiac Telemetry unit. This position requires high-level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Under the general supervision of the unit's director or designee, the CNC assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions in the unit on their designated shifts.
  • In collaboration with other members of the management team, this individual is responsible for ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
  • The CNC functions as a resource person for staff members and assists in necessary education of individual members of the nursing staff.
  • This role assumes responsibility for overall quality of nursing care provided when they are on duty.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
  • BLS & NRP certification required and maintained. ACLS preferred.
  • Activity in professional organizations encouraged.
  • Two (2) years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of their unit and leadership/management experience is preferred.

Compensation

We offer an attractive salary range between $93,000 - $122,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, health insurance, retirement plans, and more. Our estimates place the average yearly income at around $97,500 for a CNC Tele RN in Kansas City, MO area.
