Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Glasgow State Nursing Facility. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
  • Supervise and direct nursing staff, ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kentucky (or Indiana for assignments in Indiana).
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Experience working in a long-term care setting, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds and stand for long periods, with a moderate level of physical demand.
