Key Responsibilities

  • Produce diagnostic radiographs of the human body using independent judgment to determine the quality of radiographs and compliance with established protocols.
  • Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by providing accurate and timely imaging results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiographic procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in radiologic technology and imaging modalities.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and current state license.
  • 1-3 years of experience in radiologic technology, preferably in a hospital setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $24.78/hr. - $30.64/hr. The actual pay rate will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant's years of experience, unique skills and abilities, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, and other requirements for the position.
