Dental Hygienist

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our dental care team, you will work closely with our dentists to provide exceptional patient care and promote oral health.
Key Responsibilities- Assess Patient Needs: Conduct thorough patient screenings, including medical history reviews, dental charting, and periodontal charting to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver Patient Care: Provide direct patient care using established dental hygienist procedures, including cleaning and polishing, radiographs, and sealants.
- Document Patient Information: Accurately document patient dental history, chief complaint, and treatment plans in electronic records.
- Teach Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide guidance on preventing tooth decay and gum disease.
- Instrument Maintenance: Clean and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Treatment Coordination: Coordinate treatment plans with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Education and Licensure: Completed dental hygiene certificate program or Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene and current Hygienist license for the state of North Carolina.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Teamwork and Flexibility: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities and situations.
