The annual salary for this position is between $65,000 and $72,000, offering a competitive compensation package.


Job Overview

Thom Child and Family Services is seeking an Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist to join their team in Boston, Massachusetts. As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide home and community-based early intervention services to infants and toddlers who have or are at risk for developmental delays and their families.


Key Responsibilities

As an Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in multidisciplinary team assessments to evaluate client developmental status
  • Providing direct speech therapy services and activities tailored to children 0-3 years old and their families
  • Developing the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) with identified goals, objectives, and strategies related to the child's development
  • Completing progress notes, reports, assessments, and correspondence as necessary
  • Delivering individual and group interventions for infants and toddlers from birth to three years old who have developmental delays or are at risk for delays

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Current Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or CF eligible
  • Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development
  • Ability to engage in meaningful therapeutic relationships with children, parents/caregivers, and community partners
  • Commitment to delivering individualized and culturally humble services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and ability to abide by confidentiality and professional boundaries standards
  • Good computer skills and strong documentation abilities
  • Current driver's license and reliable transportation
