Job Title: Psychiatric Technician

PrairieCare is seeking a skilled Psychiatric Technician to join our team. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and adolescents with psychiatric and mental health disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and assist patients with daily functioning and mental health symptom management
  • Ensure patient safety and well-being through constant monitoring and reporting of potential safety risks
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a mental health setting; pediatric experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
