Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician 2 will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of equipment and machinery within the Roll-N-Lock Corporation facility. This includes troubleshooting and repairing complex systems, collaborating with engineering teams to resolve maintenance issues, and managing the CMMS system to minimize equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced knowledge to diagnose and repair complex equipment and machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, and develop data-driven solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Manage the CMMS system, creating work orders, uploading documentation, and updating parts inventory.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cataloging parts and ordering replacement parts and shop supplies.
  • Mentor maintenance technician I employees on equipment and advanced manufacturing systems.
  • Rebuild machines, tools, and heavy equipment, and create special tools to assist with production.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous forklift experience required; 5+ years of experience preferred.
  • 3 years of working with mechanical systems, tools, or machines required.
  • Completion of related technical training program, certificate, degree, or journeyman apprenticeship preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to add, subtract, divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to write, speak, and comprehend Spanish is required.
