Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) System Float to join our nursing team in Temple, Texas.

Job Summary

This is a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position in our acute care float pool at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. As a System Float, you will have the opportunity to work in various medical-surgical units, including the ICU and ED, and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in various medical-surgical units, including the ICU and ED.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in unit-based councils and contribute to the development of unit-based goals and initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and evidence-based care guidelines.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
