Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Atlanta (Duluth) Office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project development, design, and construction, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design of life sciences, commercial, office, higher education, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, municipal, and/or Federal projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple, concurrent projects from project entitlements and preliminary design through construction documents and construction administration.
  • Lead design team efforts and successfully manage project budgets and schedules.
  • Interface with a multi-discipline design team and mentor junior staff.
  • Prepare and process civil construction documents, and perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
  • Registration in Georgia preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional land development experience in the design of life sciences, commercial, office, higher education, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, municipal, and/or Federal projects.
  • Technical experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, technical studies, mapping documents, and earthwork calculations.
  • Stormwater experience in Georgia and Southeast USA preferred.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Specification preparation experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to foster long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent time management skills.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range: $90,000 to $120,000.
  • Possible signing bonus based on experience.
  • Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
  • Competitive end-of-year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
  • Hybrid work schedule (subject to change).
  • 401k with maximum of 5% contribution matching with 9% employee contribution.
