Position Overview- Specialty: Maternal-Fetal Sonography

Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate with patients to gather comprehensive maternal-fetal histories and obtain informed consent, assisting physicians in optimizing examination performance and interpretation.
- Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients and their families, addressing any concerns to ensure cooperation and satisfaction.
- Assist physicians in specialized procedures, demonstrating proficiency in sterile techniques and isolation precautions.
- Recognize and address clinical or emergent issues in maternal-fetal patients, ensuring optimal outcomes through appropriate actions.
Qualifications:
- Certification: ARDMS required, Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire; completion of specialized training programs within specified timeframes.
- Experience: Minimum of three years in a clinical setting focused on maternal-fetal sonography.
- Education: Associate's Degree in Ultrasonography from an accredited institution, with extensive on-the-job training.
