Job Summary:

The Clinical Manager for Pediatric Services is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Pediatric Skilled Nursing program. This includes supervising clinical and non-licensed staff, providing mentorship and guidance, and developing policies and procedures to ensure quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct the performance of clinical and non-licensed staff
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality care
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to staff
  • Oversee daily staffing requirements and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Collaborate with transportation staff, administrative assistant, and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Assist in medical and safety training and maintain training requirements for transportation staff
  • Communicate effectively with referral sources and community partners to ensure timely delivery of services
  • Assume responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating client care based on skilled assessment, medical record review, and client plan of treatment
  • Monitor client Prior Authorization status and submit new claims as necessary
  • Ensure appropriate billing submission within required timeframes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Two years of recent clinical experience in NICU, PICU, Pediatrics, Home health care, Public Health, or other pediatric settings
  • Knowledge of community-based health and social service systems, principles, and resources related to children with significant health care needs
  • Knowledge of federal, state, county, and private funding and programmatic guidelines
  • Current WI Nursing License, without limitations incompatible with duties, responsibilities, supervision, or practice setting
