Plasman's TIG Welder (Aluminum) Position

Plasman, a leading global player in the automotive and manufacturing industry, is seeking a skilled TIG Welder (Aluminum) to join our team.

As a TIG Welder (Aluminum) at Plasman, you will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting and evaluating welding lines and assemblies to ensure they meet set standards
  • Repairing defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Performing basic machining on parts as required to meet quality and production standards
  • Rectifying painted and unpainted parts to ensure they meet quality and aesthetic standards
  • Identifying and resolving equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Documenting defective parts and reporting issues to the supervisor
  • Inspecting various components to ensure they meet specified criteria and quality standards
  • Assisting in maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Replacing and maintaining consumables to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Generating daily reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Supporting shift changes by reporting defects and issues to the supervisor
  • Performing tasks assigned by the supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the production line

Requirements:

  • Welding certifications are preferred, but not required
  • Prior TIG welding experience is a plus, but not necessary
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
