We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Tray Packer to join our team in the evening shift. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks on tray packing lines to support the overall operations within the department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform repetitive manual labor to produce, package, and box tray pack items
- Operate equipment and tools to assist in the production process
- Monitor equipment operation and notify maintenance personnel of any malfunctions or safety issues
- Rotate to various functions within the processing department as needed
- Follow all safety, USDA, and GMP policies and guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work at line speed upon completion of training period
- Accountable for punctual and regular attendance
- Must be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job
This role requires working in a damp and cold environment, with loud and noisy machinery, and with or around chemicals/fumes/pungent odors. You will also work with animal organs and animal feces.
