Job Summary:
Thorndale Partners is seeking a skilled Controller to lead key financial efforts in the Mortgage/Banking Industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial planning, debt financing, and budget management for our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the audit function, including maintaining effective internal controls and ensuring adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
  • Perform timely variance analyses and provide management with independent, forward-looking financial and operational insights.
  • Provide strategic support and act as a resource to senior management.
  • Administer company accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Maintain all financial records and report on regional performance.
  • Oversee all cost accounting, budgeting, planning, and procedural controls.
  • Make proposals for efficiency and profit improvements.
  • Ensure the coordination of standards and financial policy/principles are adhered to.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, Advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • 1 year of Mortgage/Banking related experience.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (20% max).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong track record of preparing business plans, budgets, and forecasts.
