Role Overview
As a Systems Engineer, you will deliver technical expertise and guidance throughout your customer's journey towards a zero trust architecture. Your contributions will be pivotal in defining technical solutions that align with critical business objectives.

Your Contributions

  • Achieving and surpassing sales targets by crafting and executing strategic technical account plans focused on cross-platform solutions.
  • Conducting thorough discovery processes to understand and articulate the key technical, operational, and commercial needs of prospects and clients.
  • Designing and presenting compelling technical and business-oriented solutions that drive adoption and growth post-sale.
  • Exhibiting strong communication skills to influence through effective presentations, customer-specific demonstrations, and technical workshops.
  • Coordinating resources to ensure a unified approach that reflects a cohesive strategy.
  • Promoting comprehensive solutions that incorporate PANW and/or partner professional services to expedite customer realization of business value.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape to effectively highlight our leadership.
  • Continuously enhancing your technical and professional skills to increase your contributions to customer success while actively engaging with the SE community and industry events.

Qualifications
Your experience should include:

  • A solid understanding of data networking.
  • Delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges and drive new business initiatives.
  • Influencing and securing buy-in from key stakeholders in both customer-facing and internal roles; prior experience in a pre-sales capacity is advantageous.
  • Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements.
  • Experience with SaaS/SASE/cloud/managed/on-prem offerings is a plus.
  • Engaging in complex sales processes involving multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions is preferred.

Compensation
The compensation for this position will be based on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, the expected starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) will range from $192,000 to $264,000 annually. The compensation package may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
