About the Role
">We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Northwest Texas Healthcare System. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing speech and language evaluations and treatments to patients of all ages, from neonate to geriatric.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's level SLP/CF and current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Additionally, you will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians.

- Perform patient assessments and establish plans of care">
- Provide speech and language evaluations and treatments to patients of all ages">
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans">
- Collaborate with patients, families, staff, and physicians to promote maximum benefit of care">
- Assess educational needs of patients, families, caregivers, or significant others and provide education to meet those needs">
- Plan for discharge and communicate with patients, families, caregivers, significant others, and members of the healthcare team">
- Assess the effectiveness of treatment given and modify treatment to achieve goals">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you must have:

- A minimum of Master's level SLP/CF and current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist">
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians">
- Ability to read and write in English">
- Ability to evaluate and interpret information and make independent decisions">
- Ability to respond to pages">
- Ability to lift and transfer patients exerting 50 - 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 - 50 pounds frequently">
- Ability to tolerate prolonged walking and standing">
- Ability to have sensory skills to differentiate clinical signs and symptoms">
- Ability to deal with a variety of stressful situations including emergency response to patient incidents">
