Electrical Maintenance Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the North Davis Sewer District. As a valued member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our wastewater treatment plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain technical treatment plant equipment and machinery, including electric motors, Variable Frequency Drives, and local control panels.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including field wiring and motor starters.
  • Use computer systems to monitor and maintain the plant's SCADA system.
  • Follow and adhere to all plant safety procedures and demonstrate good safe work practices.
Requirements:
  • Wastewater Treatment Operator Grade IV Certification or ability to obtain within 3 years.
  • Valid Utah State Driver's license.
  • Utah Journeyman's Electrical license.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
