About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Security Officer Trainee. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Protect the physical welfare of patients, staff, and visitors by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Help safeguard hospital property and assets from vandalism and theft.
  • Enforce hospital policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college-level courses preferred.
  • Private Proprietary Security Officer License (PPSO) required; California Driver License within 2 weeks of hire.
  • Heartsaver CPR AED certification within 6 months of hire or transfer.
  • Minimum 1 year of security experience or 2 years of prior military experience preferred.
