Job Summary:The Behavioral Health Technician will provide therapeutic support and behavioral interventions to children and adolescents in home, school, and/or community settings. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of behavior modification interventions and be able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Foster a therapeutic relationship with clients and support their therapeutic needs and goals.
- Implement behavior modification interventions and provide feedback to clients and families.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide crisis management and support to clients and families.
- Coach clients, families, and other team members on effective strategies and interventions.
- 2+ years of experience providing behavioral health services or a high school diploma/equivalent and completion of a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List.
- Valid behavior analysis certification (RBT, BCAT, BCaBA, etc.) accredited by NCCA or ANSI.
